2 lbs round steak
¼ c oil
2 c beef broth
1 c ketchup
1 clove garlic, minced
¼ c mushrooms
1 tbsp curry powder
½ c brown sugar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ c cold water
2 tbsp cornstarch
Cut beef into 1” cubes. Brown in oil. Add beef broth, cover, simmer for 2 hours.
Add everything but cornstarch and water. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Stir cornstarch with water. Add cornstarch/water mixture to pot and stir until thick. Serve over rice.
