1 ½ c flour
1 ½ c quick oats
1 c brown sugar
¼ t salt
1 c butter, softened
1 can (13.4 oz) dulce de leche
1 c chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350
Combine first 4 ingredients then cut in butter with fork until crumbly.
Reserve ¼ cup for topping
Press the rest of crumb mixture in bottom of 9x13 ungreased pan
Bake for 10 minutes.
While crust is baking, put dulce de leche in a small pan over low heat to soften.
Spread dulce de leche over hot crust, then sprinkle the chocolate chips then remaining crumbs evenly over crust.
Bake 25 minutes more.
Let cool 15 minutes then run a knife around the edge of the pan to loosen.
Let cool and cut into bars.
