French Silk Pie

Ingredients

• 1 stick butter (must be butter)

• ¾ c sugar

• 1 sq chocolate, melted

• 1 t vanilla

• 2 eggs

• 1 pie shell

• toasted, chopped almonds

• 1 c cream, whipped

Preparation

1. Cream butter with electric mixer, add sugar, melted chocolate, vanilla, and beat until light and fluffy.

2. Add eggs one at a time, beating 3 minutes after each addition (½ the time if doubling the recipe).

3. Pour into shell.

4. Top with whipped cream.

5. Chill for 3 hours.

6. Sprinkle with almonds before serving.
