Chocolate Cake (Sour Cream)

Ingredients

• ½ c shortening

• 2 c sugar

• 2 eggs

• 1 c sour cream

• 2 t soda

• 2 c flour

• ½ c cocoa

• 1 c boiling water

• 1 t vanilla

• chocolate frosting

Preparation

1. Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, and sour cream.

2. Add soda, flour, and cocoa. Beat well.

3. Add water and vanilla, beat again.

4. Bake in long greased and floured pan at 350 degrees for 40 mins.

5. Frost with a package of chocolate frosting 5 mins after cake is out of oven.
